North Kildonan Student Leader Scholarship

 The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize and reward deserving students who have demonstrated the ability to positively influence their school environment through their leadership in school activities.

Three scholarships in the amount of $500.00 will be awarded.

A minimum of one award will be presented to a graduate from each of the high schools in the ward – River East Collegiate and West Kildonan Collegiate. The third award may be presented to a graduate from a school within the ward or any other public or private high school within the City of Winnipeg.

Consideration will be given to deserving students who meet the following criteria:

1. Reside in the North Kildonan Ward in the City of Winnipeg

2. Graduating in 2025

3. Plan to pursue studies at the post-secondary level upon graduation

4. Proven leadership in school activities

5. Minimum of 75% GPA for the current academic year

Each nominee must complete the application form (posted in the Grade 12 channel on TEAMS) and submit it to the office of City Councillor Jeff Browaty in order to be considered. Each application form requires the signature of the school Principal, Vice Principal, Guidance Councillor, or Resource Teacher in order to verify that the information provided is factual.
