TAKE TWO EFFORT AWARD SCHOLARSHIP

Take Two is a small company with big dreams. Our reputation and success can be 100% attributed to the amount of effort and passion we put into our work daily. The purpose of this award is to recognize an individual who is passionate about what they do. A person who puts their best foot forward every day, and whose level of energy is noticeable to others. We want to remind you that EFFORT itself is absolutely enough to fulfill all that you strive to accomplish. Specifically, we are looking for a student who has displayed this passion and effort especially within their local high school community. This award is not about achieving the most, but rather about trying the hardest, being involved, and doing your best. This involvement could be in various areas including (but definitely not limited to) athletics, the arts, academics and/or volunteer work. 

Award Value: $750.00 Deadline Date: June 13th, 2025 

Pre-Requisite: Only Grade 12 students may apply. 

 

Scholarship Application: All required parts must be in 1 PDF document that can be emailed to taketwo@taketwoinc.com. We DO NOT accept Google Doc applications – it must be a PDF. 

 

The order of documents is: 

1) Cover letter which must answer the questions: 

a. ‘Something I am really passionate about is’ 

b. ‘I am involved in my high school because’ 

c. ‘I am taking/not taking a full course load in grade 12 because’ 

d. ‘My next year plans are (university, college, year off, etc.)’ 

e. ‘My future academic/career plans are’ 

2) Profile of all your school-related activities (please distinguish between volunteer hours for credit vs. hours not for any credits) 

3) Letter of reference from either the school principal or vice-principal* 

4) Letter of reference from one teacher* 

5) Student transcript (or most current report card if all efforts are made and you are unable to get your transcript) *either include this as part 3 and 4 in your file, or it can be emailed directly to us from your reference

North Kildonan Student Leader Scholarship

 The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize and reward deserving students who have demonstrated the ability to positively influence their school environment through their leadership in school activities. Three scholarships in the amount of $500.00 will be awarded. A minimum of one award will be presented to a graduate from each of the high schools in the ward – River East Collegiate and West Kildonan Collegiate. The third award may be presented to a graduate from a school within the ward or any other public or private high school within the City of Winnipeg. Consideration will be given to deserving students who meet the following criteria: 1. Reside in the North Kildonan Ward in the City of Winnipeg 2. Graduating in 2025 3.
