Order Sons and Daughters of Italy

The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy of Canada is a vibrant organization dedicated to celebrating Italian heritage, community service, and charitable endeavors. Since the establishment of the first Canadian lodge in Ontario in 1915, the organization has grown to encompass fifteen lodges nationwide. The Garibaldi Lodge holds the distinction of being the first lodge founded in Manitoba. 

A cornerstone of our efforts is the Legacy Award, an annual program offering financial support to deserving students of Italian heritage. The Lodge awards two $2,000 scholarships to students entering or attending post-secondary education, along with one $2,000 scholarship for students pursuing a trade program. Mark & Dorothy Danzker Scholarship for Excellence
